Hello! I'm Sophie Kneebone. I'm a Customer Success expert, tech enthusiast, former actor/improviser/comedian, and human woman based in Melbourne, Australia. I haven't followed a particularly traditional career path, but I've packed a lot of learning into my life so far.
I'm currently the Head of Customer Success at Medipass Solutions, where we’re improving the transparency and efficiency of Australian healthcare payments. It's really awesome. You can read more about Medipass here.
Other stuff: Before Medipass, I was the Podcast Manager at Omny Studio. During that time I worked closely with top podcasters in Australia and around the world, advising them on podcast marketing and technology. In 2016, I was chuffed to be asked to speak at Podcast Movement in Chicago, the world’s largest gathering of podcasters and audio-on-demand industry professionals, on the iTunes Store and podcast marketing.
Other other stuff: In another life, I was a cast member and co-Artistic Director of The Big HOO-HAA! Melbourne (Melbourne’s longest-running improvised comedy show), a founding member of Impromptunes: The Completely Improvised Musical and a cast member of ABC iView’s 'Written It Down' (winner: Best Collaboration, 2014 Online Video Awards). I've written, produced and performed in comedy shows all around Australia, including my two solo sketch shows, “Braveface” and “Because Scary”. Freelancing presented opportunities to do a lot of very fun and very random stuff, including hosting a TV show on Channel 31, spending a summer working in a hydraulics factory (ok, that might have been because I was 22 and broke) and leading a surprise flash mob at a conference for employees at a giant hardware chain.
